FABIENNE MÜLLER (2005, CH)

Road to the U23 European Championships – Bergen 2025

Fabienne Müller is a young Swiss middle-distance runner with an unwavering ambition: representing Switzerland at the highest level and chase her Olympic dream. Specializing in the 800m and 1500m, she has already made a name for herself on the national and international stage.

To elevate her performance, Fabienne made a strategic move at the start of the 2025 season – joining the LVL-Runners in Langenthal. After the lasts seasons without daily training partners who could challenge and push her, she found in the LVL-Runners Hub a competitive and supportive environment that aligns with the WinTheDay philosophy. She now commutes 25km several times a week from her home in Sursee to Langenthal, embracing the physical and mental benefits of training with a high-performance team.

A Journey of Growth and Resilience

The road to an Olympic start is never linear. It’s filled with challenges. Unexpected detours, setbacks and moments of doubt – but also with victories, growth, and invaluable experiences. To navigate this path, an athlete needs determination, discipline, and the right team behind.

Despite facing injury setbacks in the past, Fabienne has demonstrated remarkable resilience. She returned to peak form with an impressive comeback in the late 2024 season, securing a Swiss U20 record in the 10km and finishing top-10 in the U20 European Championships in Antalya (Cross-Country).

In 2025, she was U23 cross-country Swiss champion and also won silver in the elite category and with the team. She also achieved bronze in the 10km road championship in Courroux. At the Swiss long-distance championships in Locarno, she dominated the 5000m and won U23 gold in 16:07.83, which was well under the limit for the U23 European Championships in Bergen.

Now, her next major milestone is qualifying for the U23 European Championships in Bergen (NOR) in July 2025 over the 1500m.

The next three years are pivotal for Fabienne. In the U23 category, before jumping to the elite stage, her focus is on continuous improvement: Refining her training, optimizing race strategies, and gaining experience at major international events.

The experience gained during this period will be invaluable for her long-term goal: To represent Switzerland at the European Championships, World Championships, and ultimately the Olympic Games.

To sustain this level of performance and getting ready to the highest stage, Fabienne requires significant training resources, competition travel, medical care, and recovery support – all of which demand financial backing. By supporting Fabienne we would like to help her focusing on her performance to achieve her olympic dream without unnecessary distractions.
